(2008) Creativity highway

Made around the first half of 2008, painted with acrylics on an illustration board.
Size without margins: 45cmx33cm (17.7inx13in)

From what I recall the concept behind this painting was "Creativity". I interpreted creativity as a highway that connects an idea with its destination (represented by the city at the end of the road). Whether that idea becomes a poem, an art piece, a song, an sculpture, a new business, it's all up to the driver.

I'm aware that my technique was far from perfect, but there's no much point on critiquing my skills from 10 years back anyways.

I always liked this piece for the use of colours an shapes more than anything else. I always imagined the curls on the side of the road moving like flames, but without merging with each other.
